A Letter To My Mentor.

Dear Mom, 


I am writing you this letter because I want you to know how much I appreciate everything you have done for me. It is amazes me that you were only 20 years old when you had me, and that you changed your life for me and my brother. I am forever in your debt. My goal in life is to be able to give you everything you weren't able to have. You are my motivation to go to school and work hard.   

The knowledge and wisdom you have placed upon me has been amazing support throughout my life. I have always looked up to you. I knew as a little girl that I wanted to grow up to be just like my mom. As I started growing I noticed all of the obstacles that you have faced and all the pain you felt in certain situations. Seeing how you handled every little thing that came you way was great to learn from. After so much you still managed to stay strong and have a smile on your face. Having you as an example to learn from is what I am most grateful for.

Now we are both reaching a chapter in our lives where we will both be apart from each other. We may not see each other everyday but I do know that I will love you for eternity no matter where you are. I will always be here the way you were there for me. I am who I am because of you. Thank you so much for being an amazing mother who makes mistakes but who learns from them. You are truly the best person in my life.

Get To Know Me

I was made in Peru and born in the wonderful city of Boston. I have lived in East Boston my whole life, other than the six months I attempted to live in Peru when i was nine years old. I am the oldest child, I have a brother that is soon to be twelve. I went to a Catholic school for 5 years, then of course it got too expensive so I ended up at a public middle school. I was terrified of going to a public school, so many people talked so badly about it that it got the best of me. But the first year wasn't so bad, I got used to it and eventually made all the friends i have 'till this day. After the eighth grade I moved onto East Boston High School, those four years were the best. I graduated seven months ago and I already miss it. In High School I joined JROTC which is a Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps and soccer,  Being involved made my grades stay in great shape. Random Facts about me would be that I love penguins and I am terrified of science museums, that would be the biggest fear I have yet to face. Nothing came easy growing up, that is why I am very thankful to have had those obstacles in my way. It made me the person I am today.

I don't have a hobby, I guess you could say that entertaining and being around kids could be my hobby. Every since my nephew was born I have done nothing but to play and enjoy every moment with him. I have worked as an assistant teacher at the YMCA in East Boston, that has been the best job i could probably ever get. Being around so many kids is joy to my heart, spending most of my days seeing every aspect of how they view and deal with an everyday routine is baffling to me. Sometimes I feel as if the 2 year olds are much wiser than I am at times. Other than being with these kids I also enjoy watching sports and being up to date with teams, this past year I learned how to be in a Fantasy Football league and with my knowledge, I believe that I am more than ready to start my own team next year. I am a very open and willing person to many things. 

If someone were to describe me, they would say that i'm a friendly, respectful, and hard working. I don't like to show much of my negative emotions unless its something very serious, other than that I'm someone who will approach you to laugh or smile with, I'm friendly to those who allow me to be, I don't have hatred for anyone, I may dislike a person but that does not mean I have to be rude. In any situation I will show respect, whether it be an adult, a child, or someone my age. Time is ticking so there is no need for me to waste my time being rude. At the moment I am working two jobs and going to school full time. I work to have money and I go to school to get future on the road. Working hard is what helps me want to keep pushing and pushing to become someone in this world.

The Way To Happiness In This Life.

The only way to
have
enough joy in one life is basically impossible, so many
ways to fail, yet so many roads
appear ahead.
You can succeed all you want
to achieve so much but the
obstacles that are
happen to come in your way
always appear at terrible timing.
Possible failures can lead into
positioning yourself
in
negative paths but you have to be the one who says
enough!
Stop
staling life,
it will get easy,
nothing will come in an instant it
takes time for it all to
happen.
It
sure does
seem easy to read but having the
lead
in your
future will
eventually bring you all of your happiness, so make changes, become someone.
